    This incident has been resolved. We have received confirmation from some of our previously affected users that they can now send and receive emails. After referencing this with Microsoft, they have also confirmed that this issue should now be resolved.     Root cause

    An increase in internal service-to-service calls resulted in authentication failures, causing email delays and failures

    After analyzing diagnostic date we determined that excessive internal service-to-service calls resulted in authentication failures, causing email delays and failures. We’re throttling these calls to mitigate the issue and provide relief.
